What a 10-Panel Drug Test Screens For
The 10-panel widens the basic five-drug screen to catch the prescription medications and sedatives a standard panel misses.
This is the version that Tucson employers, courts, and safety managers choose when one urine sample needs to cover more ground.
It includes the core five—amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and THC—plus five additional classes:
-
Benzodiazepines — anti-anxiety and sedative medications such as Xanax or Valium
-
Barbiturates — central-nervous-system depressants used in sedatives and seizure medication
-
Methadone — used in pain management and recovery programs
-
MDMA (ecstasy/molly)
Rapid 10-Panel vs. Lab Confirmation
The rapid screen is the fast lane:
A preliminary positive or negative read on-site, same day, is the fastest way to get same-day results.
Lab confirmation is the next gear—when a screen flags positive or a court or employer requires certified forensic documentation, your urine sample goes to our partner SAMHSA-certified laboratory that measures the exact amount of each substance and returns a quantitative report to your secure portal in 24 to 48 hours.
Pick the rapid screen for speed and the lab confirmation when the result has to stand up to scrutiny.

When People Choose a 10-Panel
Most 10-panel tests are run for one of four reasons. Employers and new hires use it to satisfy a broader
pre-employment or workplace-safety policy in a single visit. Some people order it privately, for their own reassurance, with results that remain confidential. Families use it to rebuild or maintain trust at home — a verified update handled in a private, judgment-free space, without the pressure of a confrontation.
People in recovery use the lab-confirmed version to document sobriety milestones in a setting that respects the work behind each one.

10-Panel Drug Test FAQ
What does a 10-panel drug test screen for? A 10-panel checks one urine sample for ten substance classes: amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and THC, plus benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, [confirm the final two add-ons]. It's the screen most often requested when an employer or court wants broader coverage than a basic 5-panel provides.
Is alcohol included in a 10-panel drug test? No. A standard 10-panel screens for drugs, not alcohol. If a court or employer needs alcohol tracked alongside the drug screen, that's a separate test — usually an EtG urine screen or a breath alcohol test, both of which we offer.
How far back does a 10-panel drug test detect use? Most substances on the panel show up in urine for about two to four days after last use. Marijuana is the exception — for frequent, heavy users it can stay detectable up to 30 days. Detection windows shift with the substance, the dose, and individual metabolism.
