Measuring selenium inside red blood cells shows your longer-term level, not just what you ate yesterday. Stop vitamin and mineral supplements for 3 days before your visit so your selenium result is accurate. Your Visit: A fast, 15-minute blood draw at Quick Test Health Services of Tucson, right off the I-10 close to downtown. No doctor's order, referral, or insurance needed — we handle the lab order on-site. Results: Your official lab report is posted to your secure patient portal in about 4–8 business days. Note on Turnaround Times: Processing times are estimates and not guaranteed. Reference laboratories may require extra time for confirmatory testing, sample re-runs, holidays, or unexpected equipment delays.

If you pay online and later realize you have an employer code or third-party payment, no refunds will be issued—store credit only. Recollections: If blood work is delayed, lost, or needs recollection, we will recollect your sample for free. Cancellations & Rescheduling 24-hour cancellation notice required. Result Turnaround Times Most tests: 24–48 hours QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus: 3–5 business days Hair follicle drug testing: 3–5 business days Specialized panels: 3–7 business days Specimen Collection & Laboratory Processing We carefully package all specimens and ship to reference laboratory partners via overnight courier. Once your specimen leaves our facility, we are not responsible for delays, losses, or damage during transit or at the reference laboratory. Time-sensitive testing?
