GI & Liver Tumor Marker Panel Specimen Type: Blood | Fasting: Not required | Results: About 2–3 business days What It Is This panel looks at three markers tied to the pancreas, liver, and colon, plus a full metabolic panel that shows how your liver and kidneys are working. This test includes: • CA 19-9 • AFP (Alpha-Fetoprotein) • CEA (Carcinoembryonic Antigen) • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), including liver enzymes Seeing the markers next to your liver enzymes gives your provider useful context, since conditions like pancreatitis or liver inflammation can push some of these numbers up too. Important to Know On their own, tumor markers can't confirm or rule out cancer. They can go up for plenty of reasons unrelated to cancer, and some cancers never raise them. This panel isn't a substitute for screenings like mammograms or colonoscopies. If you're having symptoms or a number comes back high, your provider is the right next step. Who It's For This panel is most helpful for: • Adults with a family history of colon, pancreatic, or liver cancer • People with a past diagnosis whose provider wants markers tracked • People with hepatitis or other liver conditions whose provider asked for AFP • Anyone whose provider asked for CA 19-9, AFP, or CEA What to Expect Preparation: No fasting required. Your Visit: A fast, 15-minute blood draw at Quick Test Health Services of Tucson, right off the I-10 close to downtown. No doctor's order, referral, or insurance needed — we handle the lab order on-site. Results: Your official lab report is posted to your secure patient portal in about 2–3 business days. Your results are private and shared only with people you authorize. Note on Turnaround Times: Processing times are estimates and not guaranteed. Reference laboratories may require extra time for confirmatory testing, sample re-runs, holidays, or unexpected equipment delays.

If you pay online and later realize you have an employer code or third-party payment, no refunds will be issued—store credit only. Recollections: If blood work is delayed, lost, or needs recollection, we will recollect your sample for free. Cancellations & Rescheduling 24-hour cancellation notice required. Result Turnaround Times Most tests: 24–48 hours QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus: 3–5 business days Hair follicle drug testing: 3–5 business days Specialized panels: 3–7 business days Specimen Collection & Laboratory Processing We carefully package all specimens and ship to reference laboratory partners via overnight courier.
