Iron, TIBC & Ferritin Panel Specimen Type: Blood | Fasting: Required (overnight) | Results: About 2–5 business days What It Is This panel gives a full look at your iron: what's in your blood right now, how well it's being carried, and how much you have stored. This test includes: • Iron, Total • TIBC (Total Iron-Binding Capacity) • Iron % Saturation • Ferritin (iron stores) Low iron and too much iron can cause some of the same symptoms, like fatigue and joint aches. Looking at all four numbers together helps sort out which one you're dealing with. Who It's For This panel is helpful for: • Anyone with fatigue, hair loss, pale skin, or shortness of breath • Women with heavy periods • People taking iron supplements who want to check their levels • Anyone with a family history of hemochromatosis (iron overload) What to Expect Preparation: Skip food overnight before your visit. Water is fine. A morning visit is best, and hold iron supplements for 24 hours unless your provider says otherwise. Your Visit: A fast, 15-minute blood draw at Quick Test Health Services of Tucson, right off the I-10 close to downtown. No doctor's order, referral, or insurance needed — we handle the lab order on-site. Results: Your official lab report is posted to your secure patient portal in about 2–5 business days. Note on Turnaround Times: Processing times are estimates and not guaranteed. Reference laboratories may require extra time for confirmatory testing, sample re-runs, holidays, or unexpected equipment delays.

If you pay online and later realize you have an employer code or third-party payment, no refunds will be issued—store credit only. Recollections: If blood work is delayed, lost, or needs recollection, we will recollect your sample for free. Cancellations & Rescheduling 24-hour cancellation notice required. Result Turnaround Times Most tests: 24–48 hours QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus: 3–5 business days Hair follicle drug testing: 3–5 business days Specialized panels: 3–7 business days Specimen Collection & Laboratory Processing We carefully package all specimens and ship to reference laboratory partners via overnight courier. Once your specimen leaves our facility, we are not responsible for delays, losses, or damage during transit or at the reference laboratory. Time-sensitive testing?
