Pre-Op Panel, Basic Specimen Type: Blood | Fasting: Not required | Results: About 1–3 business days What It Is This panel covers the blood count and clotting checks many surgeons want before a minor procedure. This test includes: • Complete Blood Count (CBC) • PT/INR (clotting time) • PTT (clotting time) • HIV 1/2 Antigen/Antibody Screen (5th generation) Before any cut, your care team wants proof your blood carries oxygen well and forms clots normally. The CBC flags anemia, infection, and low platelets. PT/INR and PTT show how long your blood takes to clot, two different ways, so bleeding risk is covered from both angles. Who It's For This panel fits smaller procedures. It is a good fit for: • Patients scheduled for dental surgery, minor procedures, or outpatient surgery • Anyone whose surgeon asked for a CBC and coagulation tests • Patients who already had recent metabolic labs done Need kidney, liver, and blood sugar too? Our Standard Pre-Op Panel adds a CMP. What to Expect Preparation: No fasting required. Bring your surgeon's list of required tests if you have one, and tell our team if you take blood thinners. Your Visit: A fast, 15-minute blood draw at Quick Test Health Services of Tucson, right off the I-10 close to downtown. No doctor's order, referral, or insurance needed — we handle the lab order on-site. Results: Your official lab report is posted to your secure patient portal in about 1–3 business days. Plan your visit at least a week before surgery so results are ready in time. Note on Turnaround Times: Processing times are estimates and not guaranteed. Reference laboratories may require extra time for confirmatory testing, sample re-runs, holidays, or unexpected equipment delays.

Recollections: If blood work is delayed, lost, or needs recollection, we will recollect your sample for free. Cancellations & Rescheduling 24-hour cancellation notice required. Result Turnaround Times Most tests: 24–48 hours QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus: 3–5 business days Hair follicle drug testing: 3–5 business days Specialized panels: 3–7 business days Specimen Collection & Laboratory Processing We carefully package all specimens and ship to reference laboratory partners via overnight courier. Once your specimen leaves our facility, we are not responsible for delays, losses, or damage during transit or at the reference laboratory. Time-sensitive testing?
