About This Test This is a rapid antibody screening test for HIV, using a quick fingerstick sample to detect antibodies your immune system produces in response to HIV infection. Rapid testing means a preliminary result before you leave — no waiting days for a send-out lab result. A reactive (positive) result is always followed by a confirmatory lab test to verify. Who This Test Is For • Anyone with a new or recent sexual partner who wants an HIV screen • Individuals who had a potential exposure and want fast answers • Partners of someone recently diagnosed with HIV • Anyone due for routine HIV screening as part of regular sexual health care What to Expect & Preparation Preparation: No special preparation needed. Your Lab Visit: A quick fingerstick sample, about 30 minutes total including result time. Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM. No doctor's order needed. Walk in or book online. Turnaround Time: Non-reactive results available before you leave. Reactive results are sent for confirmatory lab testing. If You Test Positive: Our team can discuss treatment options and next steps with you directly, including connecting you with ongoing care. Note on Turnaround Times: Processing times are estimates and not guaranteed. If you pay online and later realize you have an employer code or third-party payment, no refunds will be issued—store credit only. Recollections: If blood work is delayed, lost, or needs recollection, we will recollect your sample for free. Cancellations & Rescheduling 24-hour cancellation notice required.
